Heather, her hat was truly vintage early 1950's. It seemed to go well with her vintage dress. I only recall that Gene asked her if she was REALLY going to go like that. I don't think he cared for it.

Hi Judy,
You know I had misplaced your as well. I had a lot of fun catching up on your blog this afternoon. We are having a badly needed day of long steady rain.
I love the photos of your flowers and gardens, as well as the garden pictures of your friends. I'm quite ashamed of mine. I guess I'll just have to buy a lot of straw and pumpkins when you come. Pumpkins can hide a multitude of sins ... and they are a natural wormer for chickens. I pop a few in their chicken yard this time of year.
